Ian has extensive experience advising Political and Credit Risk insurers on coverage and recoveries issues involving all types of policies, including short-term multi buyer, whole turnover, structured credit and single risk policies. Another significant area of focus for Ian is advising insurers on Financial Lines and General Liability claims (coverage, monitoring and defence) including FI, PI, D&O, Fidelity and GL matters. Ian also advises generally on reinsurance issues and disputes.
Ian's cases have involved him managing and conducting significant litigation / arbitration and claims events on behalf of [re]insurers in a variety of jurisdictions around the world. He also regularly undertakes wordings and contract work and product development.
