I’m a legal director in our London office, co-leading the firm’s contentious insolvency practice within the Corporate Restructuring and Advisory team. I advise companies, office holders, financial institutions and creditors on all insolvency processes, with particular expertise in cross-border and complex contentious matters.
My recent work includes leading the team on the Madagascar Oil Part 26A Restructuring Plan, acting for directors in contested schemes, and advising on multi-million-pound antecedent transaction claims. I’ve also supported officeholders in misfeasance claims and advised on directions applications for Lehman Brothers and Lendy Ltd.
I’m a Higher Rights Advocate and an active member of Shoosmiths’ Crypto Working Group, contributing to strategic insights on digital assets and insolvency.

She's very good at understanding insolvency law; that's obviously her bread and butter. She's also quite realistic in terms of what the court could give us.
She understands the clients' business and needs, and their organisation. I was very happy with the strategy formulated by her.
Hayley is very sharp, focused and very diligent. She's very good at managing cases.
