In this directory last year, he was kindly described as, “a bit of a legal force of nature. He is incredibly clever, very personable and comes across well with clients. He is very impressive”.
Harry represents individuals and all types of corporates, from Plcs to small family partnerships, across industries encompassing all aspects of construction, transport management, work at height, electrical installation, swimming pool management, farming, caravan sites, asbestos, care homes and commercial baking.
He frequently advises and appears in Prohibition and Improvement Notice Appeals, and Enforcement Notice Appeals under the Fire Safety Order, for businesses of all sizes, in particular, in the university accommodation and public house industries.
His cases typically focus on catastrophic workplace incidents, in which he will also appear in the Inquest, and he is often instructed from before the submission of written representations through to trial. He has an increasing caseload in the care home sector, specifically at Inquest, and in securing appropriate resolution of proceedings thereafter.
