H. Campbell Cleare III

H. Campbell Cleare, III is a leading transactional attorney in The Bahamas and is often involved in high profile and complex project finance transactions. Campbell’s career spans over 35 years. He is a member of the Admiralty, Shipping & Aviation, Corporate and Commercial, Foreign and Local Investment, Immigration, Labor & Employment and Real Estate practice groups. Campbell’s particular expertise includes advising on all aspects of the financing of large and medium scale projects, hotel acquisitions and development, energy generation and industrial development and acquisition.

Campbell is a consultant in the firm having retired from the partnership in 2016. He is the Vice Chairman of The Department of Correctional Services Board, and previously served as: Chairman of the Health Professions Council; Chairman of the Grants Committee of the Charitable Arts Foundation; Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Health Professions Council; Lecturer in Law at Bahamas Hotel Training College; Chairman of The Arbitration Tribunal; Chairman of the Consumer Advisory Council to the Government; Executive Officer and First Assistant Secretary to The Ministry of Home Affairs in the Department Of Immigration.
