Gretchen Scavo

Gretchen is a solutions-driven litigator, advisor, and former federal judicial law clerk with nearly 20 years of experience representing clients across an array of complex civil litigation, government investigations, and internal investigations. Clients have complimented her ability to provide “clear, simple, and straightforward” advice on complicated issues.

Gretchen is Chair of the firm’s RWI Recovery and Working Capital Disputes Practice. She focuses her practice on post-acquisition disputes, representing strategic acquirers, private equity funds, and their portfolio companies in indemnity, fraud, earnout, and working capital disputes. She also regularly represents buyers in pursuing representation and warranty insurance claims.

Gretchen also has significant experience leading internal investigations for corporate clients, representing individual and corporate clients in government investigations, and defending clients in investor and consumer class actions.
