Career

With many years of experience advising employers and employees, Greg takes great pride in quickly getting to know and understand you, your business and the issues you require advice and support with. Greg’s advice is concise, pragmatic and adapted so as to be relevant to you or your business.

Greg acts for a wide range of employers across multiple sectors, advising on issues including restructures and change programmes, TUPE advice, trade union law, dismissal and employee relations issues, complex grievances and bullying, harassment and discrimination complaints. Greg has a plethora of experience defending employers in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal.

He invests time building strong relationships with senior individuals within organisations, both amongst senior managers and the HR and People teams. He will quickly identify areas of risk and provide solutions and recommendations to mitigate that risk.

Greg has advised employees and employers on claims involving misuse of confidential information and breaches of restrictive covenants, including bringing and defending High Court litigation.

When acting for directors and senior executives, Greg will give strategic advice if, for example, you are looking at negotiating an exit from a role, or you have been presented with an exit proposal. Greg will adapt his style depending on how aggressive an approach is necessary and appropriate.

He uses his communication skills to develop and build strong relationships with all clients of the firm, and collaborates with other groups in the firm to ensure clients get support whatever their legal or commercial challenges.

Greg qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and joined the Employment team at DMH Stallard as a Partner in 2015.
