Grace Chaw read law at Monash University, Australia. She is dual-qualified to practise in New South Wales, Australia and Malaysia.
She founded Grace Chaw & Co. at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with an exclusive dispute resolution and litigation practice at all levels of the Malaysian courts. Many appellate decisions reported in Malayan Law Journal (MLJ) and Current Law Journal (CLJ), which she was the lead counsel, recognise her commitment to litigation and advocacy practice.
Grace is professionally trained in international commercial arbitration, construction adjudication and mediation.
She is a holder of Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration by Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
She is appointed by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) as an adjudicator to hear construction adjudication.
She is also an accredited mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI).
Grace is currently a Master of Law candidate at the Queen Mary University of London pursuing LLM in International Dispute Resolution.
