Gordon advises on consenting of major projects and environmental and regulatory issues across the energy, transport and infrastructure and sectors. He is expert in successfully managing the many demands of multiple major and complex applications, having advised on many of the largest and most demanding projects - including A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon, Hinkley Point C, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm, Hornsea Offshore Wind Farms Projects 1 and 2 and Keuper Gas Storage. He also has been involved with consenting of TCPA projects (e.g. the £500m Edinburgh Zero Waste EfW) and Transport and Works Act projects (e.g. the redevelopment of Queen Street Station by Network Rail), Highways England on the A303 Stonehenge project and the Environment Agency on the River Thames Scheme, the largest flood defence scheme in the UK. Gordon chairs the Law Society of Scotland's Environment Committee.
