Gina Shishima is the US Chief Operations Partner, and previously served as the US Head of Intellectual Property. She focuses on patent prosecution, due diligence, post-grant proceedings, and patent litigation matters for public and private biotechnology, medical devices, chemical, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as universities, research centers, and hospitals. Her significant experience includes patent portfolio management and patent counseling, as well as involvement in inter partes reviews (IPR), reexaminations, interferences, and European oppositions. Other experience includes a wide variety of involvement in patent litigation matters and licensing issues, in addition to patentability opinions, freedom to operate evaluations, and competitive technology assessments. Gina speaks frequently on patent issues, as well as diversity and inclusion topics.
