Gian Paolo specializes in litigation and ADR for clients across various industries, ranging from traditional sectors like industrial plants and infrastructure construction to ones like sports, new media, tech, and AI. Among his areas of expertise are corporate law, business contracting, and consumer relations.
Gian Paolo has been and is involved in litigation and arbitration procedures concerning M&A, corporate bodies and auditors’ liability, as well as unfair competition and international contracting.
He is qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales, with extensive experience in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, including as an arbitrator.
Gian Paolo joined the Law Firm in 2010.
From 1998 to 2000, he worked for Studio Legale Imperiali, specialized in technology law, and from 2000 to 2010 for Traverso & Associati, an international law firm where he was in charge of M&A transactions and litigation proceedings. There, he became partner in 2007.
Since 2024, Gian Paolo has been a member of the ICC Italy Commission on Arbitration and ADR and an international delegate to the ICC Global Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
He also co-authored the Practical Commentary on the Rules of the Chamber of Arbitration of Milan, published by Wolters Kluwer-Cedam in 2023 (second edition), also in English in 2024.
