The core of Gertjan’s practice is patent law, where his background in science serves him well. His practice spans all fields of technology, including chemical, electrical, mechanical, computer and pharmaceutical technology.
Gertjan advises and litigates on behalf of numerous high-profile national and international companies. Most of his work is cross-border in nature, and he has extensive experience in conducting and coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation.
Partner since 2004.
Gertjan is an active member of several national and international professional associations including AIPPI, EPLAW and LES.
Gertjan is Chair of AIPPI’s Special Committee on Standards and Patents.
