Gabryela rejoined Galicia in 2022 as an associate in the Tax practice area.

She has been a tax advisor since 2007 and has provided consulting services for domestic and cross-border transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and structuring, corporate restructurings, interpretation and application of domestic legislation on federal and local taxes, application of double taxation conventions, tax advisory related to tax aspects of the business activities of foreign enterprises in Mexico and Mexican businesses abroad, and estate-planning for individuals. She has advised large domestic and multinational enterprises across many sectors, including in finance, real estate, infrastructure and energy.

Previously, she worked as an associate at two tax boutique firms and as partner at her own firm.

Gabryela has a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and an LL.M. in International Tax Law from Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien).

She is an active member of the YIN and WIN committees within the International Fiscal Association and has published papers for Mexican magazines as well as lectured at various Mexican universities.
