She previously worked in tax and administrative litigation, as well as in tax estate planning and wealth management, at two renowned law firms and a Big Four company.

Ana Elena is a tax advisor in national and international tax law. In recent years, she has specialized in advising and representing domestic and international clients in various types of operations, transactions and tax matters. Her expertise focuses on estate planning for individuals, legal entities and corporations, specifically in providing adequate protection, disposition and diversification of their assets as well as in advising different corporate restructurings, mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions.

She received her undergraduate law degree and a master in Tax Law from Universidad Panamericana. She also has an LL.M. in International Tax Law from Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. Additionally, she has taken various postgraduate courses at national and foreign universities, such as New York University (USA), Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain) and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (Mexico).

Ana Elena is an active member of Mexico’s International Fiscal Association (IFA). She has also authored several national and international publications. She is currently a professor for various subjects at Universidad Panamericana.
