Practice Areas
Frank advises on national and international pension issues, including the establishment, amendment, transfer and closure of pension plans and pension providers. He works for large and medium sized companies, pension providers (pension funds, insurance companies and PPI’s) and their administrators. He is also experienced in advising on the pension aspects of complex (multi-jurisdictional) M&A transactions. Frank represents a wide array of clients in disputes related to pension schemes and the implementation thereof, for example regarding discussions on the implementation agreements between company and pension provider, discussions on pension entitlements of employees and pensioners including indexations thereof and the participation to mandatory industry wide pension funds.
Frank has practised in pension law for over 25 years and is a leading practitioner in the field. Frank regularly publishes and lectures on subjects in his field and is a member of various professional associations.
Career
Frank started his career at EY in 1992 as an employment lawyer before continuing as a pension lawyer at EY in 1995. Before joining L&A Advocaten in September 2024, Frank worked for Loyens and Loeff and Allen & Overy / A&O Shearman. He also co-founded another boutique employment and pensions firm (HDK Advocaten).
