Frank McDonald is a civil trial lawyer. For over 35 years, he has represented manufacturers and other entities in state and federal court in all manner of civil litigation. His specialty in trial practice involves defending clients in serious personal injury and death cases alleging product defect. He has first chaired over 60 of these types of lengthy trials in his career. He has tried cases throughout Florida and the Southeast United States. He is annually recognized as one of the best lawyers in civil trial practice by several notable publications. He is board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar. In 2008, he was invited to become a Fellow in the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. In that organization, he has participated in several committees, and has served as Chair of the Florida State Committee of the College.

A native Floridian, Frank was born and raised in DeLand. He attended the University of Florida on a baseball scholarship. In his senior year with the Gators, his teammates and coaches voted him "Mr. Gator Baseball", the highest award given to a sole player for his commitment and value to the team. He went on to law school at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a staff member of the Stetson Law Review, and was also a member of Stetson's award winning moot court team. After graduation from law school, Frank clerked for the Honorable Joseph W. Hatchett on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2004, he returned to Central Florida where he has practiced his entire career. In 2010, he was a founding member of the McDonald Toole Wiggins, P.A., law firm. The boutique firm specializes exclusively in trial practice. Its clientele includes some of the most recognized companies in the automotive and manufacturing industries in the world.
