Work Highlights

Flávio is the main lawyer working on the defense of a leading case in the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court. The claim aims to exclude presumed State VAT credits (known as ICMS in Brazil) from the assessment basis of social contributions (PIS & COFINS), which are levied on the gross revenue of companies. To-date the case has enjoyed a favourable judgment, which still has to be finalised.
