Founded in 1961, it is a non-profit, independent organization dedicated to the study of Insurance Law and related fields in law and economics that impact the insurance industry. It serves as the Spanish chapter of the global AIDA (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances).

Publications

Author of the book “The Insurance Contract in the Spanish Law” and co-author of the book “Law on the Distribution of Private Insurance and Reinsurance”. His participation as a speaker is regularly required at conferences on Spanish insurance law in the London and Spanish insurance markets.

Experience

He has advised multinational companies on the creation and implementation of insurance distribution networks and processes, as well as on the drafting or review of terms and conditions of property and liability insurance policies, including, where applicable, their adaptation to Spanish regulations.

In the field of litigation, his remarkable ability in the defence and judicial claim of damages in property insurance, loss of profits, construction and civil liability stands out, having represented the interests of important Spanish and foreign companies.
