Federica Barbero

Federica is the head of Linklaters’ Italian Employment practice in our Milan office. Her experience spans all aspects of employment advice, primarily focusing on top managers’ employment contracts and terminations, retention arrangements, remuneration structures, works councils and unions’ relations, collective redundancy procedures, transaction-related employment law (corporate acquisitions and sales; transfers of business; corporate restructurings). Federica also deals with contentious work, especially high value executives and managing directors’ termination cases.

Federica, as a recognised expert in employment matters and as an advocate for women’s rights, also played a lead role in preparing and presenting a paper to the labour commission of the House of Representatives in connection with potential amendments to current legislation to address work-life balance measures.
