Fang is an M&A and Private Equity partner and the managing partner of Gibson Dunn’s Beijing office. She has broad-based experience representing Chinese and international corporations and PE funds in cross-border acquisitions, going private transactions, joint ventures, co-investment transactions, PIPE transactions, tender offers and venture capital transactions, including many landmark deals among those. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance matters.
Fang was shortlisted for the “Best in M&A and Private Equity” category of the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Woman in Business Law Awards 2016.
Fang received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, where she also served as Research Editor of the Law and Contemporary Problems Journal and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She was also awarded the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Business Organization and Finance. Fang received her Bachelor of Arts in International Business, magna cum laude, from the Ocean University of Qingdao, and her L.L.M. degree from the University of International Business and Economics.
