Career
Represents national and international clients in complex transactions and dispute settlement both in litigation and arbitration on major issues related to innovation and new technologies, intellectual property, privacy and cybersecurity, internet law, trade in digital goods and services, telecommunications, media and entertainment.
With extensive experience in international legal practice in Brazil and abroad, assists companies and individual investors in matters ranging from the structuring of legal strategies for startups to advising on regulatory matters and complex negotiations involving services, solutions and applications of Industry 4.0, such as in artificial intelligence, digital platforms, internet of things, encryption and cloud computing.
Has been advising clients with drafting and submission of legal opinions in his fields of expertise, as well as the implementation and updating of global corporate policies to Brazilian laws. Assists companies in policy strategies and position documents in hearings and public consultations dealing with legislative projects, and “amicus curiae” memorials before higher Brazilian courts in complex disputes related to internet, intellectual property and new technologies.
