Euan is the Practice head of the EMEA Competition Practice. He has a broad anti-trust investigative, advising and contentious practice and is currenting advising on many of the most significant matters in the UK and EU.
He acts on a wide range of disputes, competition law, state aid and procurement law matters and has considerable experience in dealing with the European Commission, UK regulators, UK Competition Appeal Tribunal and private courts (including advocacy higher rights of audience) in relation to competition law investigations, competition and procurement law litigation, regulatory challenges (including judicial review), merger control and the application of competition law to a wide range of commercial agreements and practices.
Euan also has particular experience of providing coordinated state aid, competition, procurement and merger control advice in connection with large transport and infrastructure projects in the UK and Europe.
Euan is Vice Chair of the UK Competition Law Association. Euan also sits on the Competition Appeal Tribunal User Group Panel and was one of three UK City solicitors appointed to the Working Party advising the court for the UK's new Class Action CAT rules.
