Corporate is the firm’s core practice, from and to which most of the other practices derive and relate. Most corporate and M&A matters involve several areas of legal skill including, antitrust & regulatory, compliance, finance, labor and employment and tax, among others. We have experienced lawyers across these practice areas, who approach matters with a corporate lens and help clients navigate all issues that can arise in a corporate or M&A context.

Many of the regional transactions handled at the firm are led from the Costa Rica office, often taking the coordinating role on a deal.

We advise clients of all sectors in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs or any kind of business combination, arrangement or restructuring. Our experience covers the entire life of a deal, local ‘one-country’ transactions, to regional and cross-border deals.

We have extensive experience in assisting start-ups and advising on general foreign direct investment and greenfield projects, as well as giving general business law support.
