Erica Villanueva

Erica Villanueva is the chair of Farella’s Insurance Recovery practice group. She advocates on behalf of policyholder clients seeking recovery under virtually every single type of insurance policy, with a particular focus on liability insurance coverages, especially for platform technology companies and venture capital firms. She has helped her clients obtain insurance recoveries for some of their most unique and complex exposures under Directors & Officers liability, Commercial General Liability, Cyber/Tech E&O/Media liability, and Venture Capital/Private Equity liability policies. In addition, Erica has significant experience representing clients who utilize captives and other customized risk transfer solutions. She also works with policyholders and their insurance brokers to negotiate favorable policy terms, addressing their unique risk profiles.
