Eric Johnson is an experienced commercial lawyer whose practice deals in a broad mix of corporate and commercial areas including banking and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and real estate. He is the National Co-Leader of Miller Thomson's Agribusiness and Food Production Industry Group, which is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers Canada. Eric advises corporate clients in relation to reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, shareholder agreements and other on-going business matters. He also advises private-sector clients on mergers and acquisitions in Canada and internationally, including amalgamations, mergers, corporate reorganizations, restructuring, and purchase and sale transactions. Eric also acts for both banks and credit unions, as well as private lenders. He has experience having worked on a diverse array of financing transactions including secured credit facilities and syndicated credit arrangements. Eric has acted on commercial lending transactions in a variety of industries but has particular experience in the agricultural sector as well as in lending for real estate development.
