Emmanuel is a specialist in intellectual property law, with particular expertise in patent litigation. He advises and represents clients across all aspects of patent, trademark, software, design, copyright and unfair competition law, both in advisory and contentious matters.
Career
Before joining FTPA Avocats in 2025, Emmanuel practised at de Marcellus & Disser Avocats, an intellectual property law firm he founded. He also spent more than 15 years with leading firms including SCP Clery de la Myre Mory & Monegier du Sorbier, Linklaters LLP and d’Alverny Demont, where he established and developed the industrial property department.
Emmanuel teaches copyright and heritage protection law at the Institut Catholique de Paris and chairs the jury for the intellectual property specialization certification at the Paris Bar School (EFB).
Professional Memberships
He is a former President of APRAM (Association of Trademark and Design Professionals) and a former board member of APEB (Association of European Patent Practitioners). He also previously served on the executive committee of AAPI (Association of Lawyers Specialising in Industrial Property) and is currently a member of COMPI at MEDEF.
