Emma is a partner in the property litigation department and has a wealth of experience in many areas of the contentious real estate practice. She deals with a variety of property matters covering landlord/tenant and wider property issues, including complex contractual and joint venture disputes relating to significant London developments and providing strategic development advice. She has worked with significant property owning companies, large corporate occupiers, retailers and high net worth individuals. She is particularly experienced in dilapidations claims having acted on a number that have involved proceedings and trials. She has also worked on contentious business lease renewals (both unopposed and opposed), property management issues (such as recovery of arrears, service charge disputes, consents and rent reviews), quiet enjoyment, contract disputes, trespass claims, easements (including rights to light and rights of way) and adverse possession.
