Emil is the founder of Emil Miftari Law office. After many years of working in one of the well-known law offices in the Republic of North Macedonia, in 2011 he founded his own office. Although at the beginning of his career his work was more focused on civil and criminal litigation, today his work covers a wider range of practice areas.
Emil is a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of North Macedonia.

In particular, he has substantial experience working with clients from the construction and real estate, architecture, IT, hospitality, insurance, food and beverages, marketing, energy, transport, finance, and other industries.
Emil speaks English fluently. He also speaks and understands Serbian and Croatian.
Emil’s work is mostly focused on commercial and corporate law. He has been advising clients in various capital transaction, as well as M&As. He has negotiated and mediated various complex, multi-layered, legal issues and disputes. Emil has extensive experience in the area of construction and real estate. He provides specialized legal services and advises clients on property transactions, development projects, permitting and regulatory compliance, as well as real estate due diligence. His area of expertise also includes drafting and negotiating contracts, and resolving disputes related to construction projects, leases, and property ownership. Emil’s work also includes civil and criminal litigation and dispute resolution. In the area of criminal law, majority of his work is focused on corporate and white-collar crime cases such as embezzlement, fraud, including financial and custom fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, worker exploitation and safety regulation and other. Furthermore, Emil has wide experience in advising domestic and international clients from different industries, regarding various issues from commercial, business, finance, tax, regulatory, and other legal aspects.
