After a short practice at the Basic Court in Skopje and short experience at the public revenue authorities of the Republic of North Macedonia, Elena began her career in advocacy and legal services. She has been holding a bar license since 2009. After being part of one of the leading law firms in the Republic of North Macedonia for many years, she joined Emil Miftari Law office in 2015.

Elena is a member of the Bar Association of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Elena has been a contributor to various international legal magazines.

Elena’s work is mostly focused on commercial and corporate law, as well as civil litigation and dispute resolution. She works with various domestic and foreign clients, providing corporate advisory services and assisting with business formation, governance structures, shareholder agreements, and regulatory compliance. Her expertise also includes licensing and distribution agreements in the pharmaceutical sector, as well as various legal support in relation to healthcare in general. She has been advising clients is relation to diverse IP and copyright issues and has also represented clients in court cases for copyright and IP protection and infringement. She has wide experience in legal services related to the education sector, including formation, licensing, and compliance. She is also experienced in employment issues, public procurement, data protection, business contracts, and others.
