Liz is an experienced Senior Associate specialising in development planning work and has been an integral part of the team for over 13 years. Liz has a broad experience of planning issues across the development sector from both a public and private perspective. Liz regularly negotiates complex section 106 agreements and provides strategic advice on all planning law matters including planning permissions, planning appeals and judicial reviews, environmental impact assessment, planning policies, local plan promotion, listed buildings, enforcement, highways, compulsory purchase and infrastructure matters.
Liz specialises in advising on large scale regeneration projects including garden communities and urban extensions. Notably, throughout her career at Pinsent Masons, Liz had advised London Legacy Development Corporation on the development of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which is one of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes. Liz is also advising on a number of nationally significant sites including Northern Gateway which forms part of nationally significant employment development Atom Valley and two of the Governments recommended new town sites. Liz has a reputation in the regional market for her strong work ethic and her commercial and diligent approach. Liz is always approachable and an asset to any project team.
