Eeva-Lotta Kivelä

Eeva-Lotta Kivelä is a partner of Dittmar & Indrenius focusing on transactions especially in the energy & infrastructure, financial services and technology sectors. She has considerable experience in the energy industry, in particular relating to wind power, district heating and electricity distribution. She regularly advises clients on matters relating to acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings as well as complex contractual arrangements entailing, among others, power purchase agreements, various project and supply agreements as well as agreements relating to electricity distribution and grid operations. She specialises in projects supporting industrial transition, sustainable economy and circular solutions.

She has strong background in financing transactions entailing project financing, acquisition financing, real estate financing, complex asset leasing arrangements, securitization and derivatives. Additionally, her experience in corporate restructurings and M&A involving entities in the insurance, asset management and banking sectors – seamlessly integrating contract, corporate and regulatory laws – has delivered exceptional outcomes for her clients.

Eeva-Lotta Kivelä has played an instrumental role in several major contentious administrative proceedings in Finland involving regulated entities in the financial sector relating to, for instance, compliance with banking and investment services laws.
