Edward is a Partner in the Social Housing team. Edward has a meticulous approach to litigation and provides effective advice to his clients throughout the running of a case.

Edward regularly acts in complex possession / injunction proceedings, often in the context of mental health disability and mental capacity issues; he has achieved successful outcomes in a large number of housing conditions cases; he has helped to hold local authorities and other public bodies to account on a wide range of issues through judicial review and homelessness appeals; he also regularly practises in the complementary but disparate areas of landlord and tenant law, unlawful eviction claims, discrimination law, ownership disputes and property disputes. Edward has experience conducting cases in the County Court, the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the Magistrates Court, the Upper Tribunal, and through various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Edward is also recommended in the Legal 500 UK.

Career

Edward joined Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors in 2012 and became a Partner at the firm in 2024.
