Edward Boydell KC

Edward Boydell is head of the family finance team at Pump Court Chambers and is very well known for his expertise and long experience dealing with complex high net worth cases including those concerning family businesses, farms, companies, trusts and TOLATA. He is often invited to speak at seminars and conferences including for Resolution in both Hampshire and Devon, the Hampshire Court Forum, White Paper and at many other events. He has written published articles including for Family Law. He has been regarded by Chambers and Partners as being a "Leader at the Bar" for many years on both the Western Circuit and the South-East Circuit and is ranked as one of very few “Star Individuals”. He is regularly chosen as a judge for private FDRs.

Called in 1989 and joined Pump Court Chambers in 1990. Appointed a Recorder in 2005 on the Midland Circuit sitting in civil and family – including authorisation to deal with public law care cases and financial remedy appeals and applications. Edward also sits as a Recorder of the Crown Court and is a judge of the Financial Remedies Court.
