EDNA SUSSMAN is a full-time arbitrator. Formerly a partner at White & Case LLP, Ms Sussman has served as an arbitrator or mediator in hundreds of complex commercial disputes including under ICDR, ICC, AAA, SIAC, CAM-CCBC, CCAC, UNCITRAL, JAMS, and CPR rules. She serves on the panels of the leading dispute resolution centres around the world including Brazil, Switzerland, Vienna, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, South China, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam, Dubai, Lagos, Kigali and British Columbia. She has extensive experience in cases involving commercial transactions, life sciences, partnership and joint venture, franchises and distributorships, pharmaceuticals, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, financing and banking, energy, insurance, accounting, environment, securities, real estate, hospitality, aviation and professional liability. Ms Sussman currently serves on the board of the American Arbitration Association and was formerly Chair of the New York International Arbitration Center, Chair of the AAA-ICDR Foundation, and President of the College of Commercial Arbitrators. She is the Distinguished ADR Practitioner in Residence at Fordham Law School, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and certified by the International Mediation Institute. A graduate of Columbia Law School, she frequently publishes and presents on arbitration and mediation.
