She acts for multinational companies, private equity and venture capital firms, financial institutions, impact investors and leading Tanzanian corporates on sophisticated, often cross-border matters.

Career

Doxa Mbapila has over 10 years’ senior in-house experience, having served as Head of Legal and Company Secretary at leading financial institutions, including Citibank Tanzania and Stanbic Bank Tanzania. In these roles, she advised on high-value financings, capital markets transactions, regulatory compliance and board-level corporate governance. She served as counsel for BG Tanzania (now Shell), advising on corporate, regulatory and commercial matters in the energy sector. Prior to moving in-house, she worked in a leading law firm in Tanzania. She returned to private practice at Endoxa Law, where she is Partner and Head of the Corporate, Commercial and Banking Practice.
