Practice Areas

Dominique Vanherck is a Director at Deloitte Legal’s Public, regulatory and permits team with a clear focus on energy and infrastructure projects. She advises on energy & climate law and in that respect advises on permits, concessions, renewable energy support mechanisms and grid access. Furthermore, Dominique drafts and negotiates construction and engineering contracts (with a particular focus on Design, Build, Finance and Maintain contracts and EPC contracts). She has assisted clients with the development of several offshore and onshore wind farms, PV projects, a district heating grid, a biomass plant, public infrastructure (roads, bridges, a hospital and a police station) and an industrial plant (a sugar beet plant).

In addition, Dominique regularly advises on EU regulatory law, including energy law and chemicals legislation (REACH and CLP).
