In travel law, Dominique specialises in jurisdictional issues, package travel claims and cross-border clinical negligence claims. Dominique recently co-wrote ‘Saggerson on Travel Law and Litigation’ and authored “A Practical Guide to Cross-Border Clinical Negligence Claims”.
Dominique is recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ in clinical negligence. She acts for claimants and defendants in claims involving consent issues, delays in treatment, and failures to diagnose. She also has a busy personal injury practice, often acting in (or being led in) traumatic brain injury cases. She has experience of obtaining findings of fundamental dishonesty at trial and on appeal.
Dominique has a thriving inquest practice. She frequently represents families, local authorities, NHS trusts and other organisations. She has experience of jury inquests and has obtained a neglect rider.
Dominique studied law at the University of Surrey where she gained a First Class Honours degree. She undertook her Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law (London Bloomsbury) and achieved a ‘Very Competent’. Dominique was awarded an Exhibition Award and Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Award by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
