Diego Alejandro Lopez Ramirez

Diego’s practice focuses on tax, financial law, private equity, foreign investment, corporate law and governance, as well as estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. He advises both national and international clients, including publicly listed companies and multinational groups, providing strategic legal guidance across a wide range of industries.

He has successfully assisted numerous multinational corporations in establishing and expanding their operations in Mexico, particularly through soft-landing strategies tailored to the Mexican regulatory and business environment. His clients span North America, Europe, and West Asia, and come from diverse sectors including finance, fintech, manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Diego has over a decade of legal experience and is a founding partner at Dayston. He leads the firm’s Corporate and Business Law practice and Banking & Finance group, and co-leads the Tax practice, contributing deep knowledge in international taxation. He holds master’s degrees in both Tax Law and Financial Law from one of the most prestigious law schools in Mexico.
