Diana Pineda is Partner at Gonzalez Calvillo with over 10 years of experience in energy matters, oil & gas projects, litigation and dispute resolution.
For the past five years she has focused her practice in the development of oil & gas projects within Mexico, in upstream, midstream and downstream; participating in international bidding rounds for exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons; dealing with complex regulatory matters; developing and participating in open season tender processes in midstream; negotiating supply agreements, take-or-pay contracts, logistics services agreements; and advising several marketing companies of all energy commodities.
Prior to joining Gonzalez Calvillo, she worked as General Counsel at Silver Fuels in Houston and Mexico City, as private practitioner in civil litigation in Mexico and as Legal Researcher at Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
She obtained a Ms.C. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University in New York and a postgraduate degree in Civil Law (Obligations) from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico.
She regularly contributes with prestigious publications including Getting The Deal Through, International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG), Financier Worldwide and International Mediation Guide.
Throughout her career, she has participated as expert speaker in numerous Energy Forums in Mexico and United States.
