Despoina is a senior associate of the team. She has expertise in the last thirteen (13) years in labour law by handling cases of large employer clients – multinational companies in a range of industries focusing in particular on supermarket chains, banking and manufacturing sector (collective bargaining, drafting of collective labour agreements, labour regulations, special policies, collective redundancies, transfer of businesses in the event of mergers, acquisitions, privatizations, drafting of employment contracts, remuneration policies, incentive plans, due diligence projects, daily communication and advice, representation in trials before courts and authorities for social security and labour law disputes.)
Among other things, she was involved in advising a major international Bank for the transfer of its undertaking and the liquidation of its defined benefit pension scheme. The project has been successfully accomplished, and all litigation related claims of more than €140m has been rejected at the first degree. The matter is still pending before Supreme Court. She also successfully defended a variety of clients before a variety of Courts and has ensured the daily consulting of at least 10 major clients.
