David Biderman, a partner in Perkins Coie's San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, focuses his practice on mass tort litigation and consumer class actions. He heads the firm's Consumer Products & Services Litigation group. On consumer class actions, David represents consumer packaged goods companies, food companies, supplement companies and others companies sued in consumer class actions for a variety of marketing, sales or other practices. For food companies, he has litigated dozens of food labeling cases and has a record of favorable results, including several precedent setting appellate decisions. David has spoken at numerous CPG, food or consumer litigation conferences and is interviewed frequently in legal and trade press. David teaches a well received course at UCLA Law School on Class Action and Food Litigation. David also hosts a popular podcast on privacy and technology, Decrypted Unscripted, which has over 75 episodes and is regularly ranked among the top privacy podcasts.
