Career

David has represented debtors, lenders, creditors' committees and individual creditors in bankruptcy cases and workouts for over 35 years. He is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has taught as an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He is among the top lawyers in the country specializing in the hotel industry, and represents some of the largest hotel owners, CMBS special servicers, franchisees and management companies in all aspects of transactions and litigation. David argued RadLAX Gateway Hotel, LLC v. Amalgamated Bank, 132 S.Ct.2065 (2012) before the Supreme Court of the United States.
