David Culshaw

David’s focus is working with owner-managed businesses, SMEs, start-ups and private investors. Although experienced in working for businesses across sectors, he has a strong background and reputation working with both local and national in the manufacturing, technology and food and drink sectors.

He has developed and continues to build on strong links with other local advisors and is regularly recommended by accountants and corporate finance professionals as somebody able to take a practical and commercial approach to transactional work.

David has in-depth knowledge and experience of a wide range of corporate transactional work, including M&A, joint venture, private equity and investment, lending arrangements, company re-organisations, shareholder relations and share options.

David and the team as a whole have been involved in a large number of, often complex, investment transactions, including a number of management buy-out transactions acting for investors, sellers and management.

In addition, David regularly advises on key commercial contract for clients, including advising on supply agreements, distribution and agency arrangements, manufacturing agreements and sale of goods.
