David Caballero Mendive is a CMA associate specialising in tax law and providing tax advice to corporate groups, both in the field of direct and indirect taxation.

Mr Caballero has participated in the defense of taxpayers' rights in numerous administrative, verification and inspection tax procedures, as well as in economic-administrative and judicial proceedings.

In addition, he provides tax advice on restructuring operations and the sale and purchase of companies.

Finally, Mr Caballero advises private clients on how to optimize their wealth status from a tax point of view and to comply with their tax obligations.

His main strengths include advising companies according to their needs and his high technical skills.

Career

Mr Caballero earned a double major in Finance and Law from Navarra University and a Master in Tax Law from IE Law School. Subsequently, he worked for 7 years in GTA Villamagna Abogados, a leading firm in the tax field, until 2023 when he joined CMA Abogados.

He has conducted practical training courses for both clients and other professionals in the sector, particularly in the field of auditing taxpayers.
