David Webb is the Managing Director of Valkyrie and leads the firm’s strategic security, investigations, intelligence, protective risk and crisis advisory work. He supports law firms, corporate clients, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and private clients in complex, sensitive and often fast-moving matters where discretion, judgement and operational experience are essential.

David’s work spans business intelligence, sensitive investigations, protective security, threat assessment, covert surveillance, physical security reviews, crisis response, litigation support and risk management. He is regularly involved in matters where clients need to understand facts, exposure, hostile activity, personal risk, security vulnerabilities or the practical implications of a developing situation.

Before Valkyrie, David served for 26 years in the UK military, including 10 years in the Royal Marines and 16 years with UK Special Forces. He later held senior corporate security leadership roles, with responsibility for security and risk management across multiple regions and jurisdictions. This background informs his approach to complex client matters: structured assessment, proportionate response, clear decision-making and practical recommendations that can be implemented under pressure.

In investigations and intelligence matters, David is often engaged where field-based enquiries, protective risk assessment, surveillance capability, physical security insight or senior strategic judgement are required. His work includes corporate disputes, private client matters, reputationally sensitive investigations, threat-related enquiries, security failure assessments and matters involving personal safety, hostile attention or complex risk exposure.

David is experienced in working discreetly with legal teams, advisers, boards, family offices and private clients, helping them stabilise sensitive situations, understand risk and make informed decisions based on clear, evidence-led reporting.

• Provided senior strategic input across multi-disciplinary assignments involving investigations, covert surveillance, cyber and technical specialists, legal advisers, communications teams and family office representatives.
