Darshan is a founding and the Managing Partner of Stratage Law Partners. He has over 20 years of experience covering varied areas of practice.
He has advised several Fortune 500 companies in the world and continues to advise funds and multinationals on aspects like India entry, acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions. His expertise in exchange control regulations, SEBI and general corporate law is an added advantage on evaluating, structuring and implementing some of the most complex transactions, shareholders dispute and insolvency matters.
He has acted for clients across sectors, such as, healthcare, pharma, hospitality, logistic, financial services, aviation and IT. He serves as an independent director on the boards of several companies.
He is investor and mentor to few startups. He is also a president of Mumbai chapter of Indian Lawyers Association.
He has graduated with a commerce degree and law degree from the University of Mumbai. He is also a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Prior to Stratage, he was a Partner with a leading law firm in India, co-heading its Corporate and M&A Practice.
