A "Jenks lifer" (one who attends Jenks Public Schools from K-12), Danya grew up in a vibrant multicultural home, speaking Arabic, German, and English interchangeably. In her youth, she spent her summers with family in Germany and Mexico. Danya brings multilingual skills and a global perspective to her trial work in the Midwest. Travel remains an important part of her life, as part of working in the U.S. jurisdictions where she is licensed and attending national and international conferences for like-minded trial lawyers.

Her older brother is also a successful lawyer who works at one of the largest white-shoe firms in world.

In 2024, Danya prevailed in a multi-day child relocation trial, resulting in judicial approval of her client's move with a minor child to another jurisdiction.

In 2025, she prevailed in a three day divorce trial, obtaining a substantial alimony judgment for her client.

Danya began immersive advocacy training immediately after law school. Her post-law school education and skills training includes: the National Criminal Defense College's Cross-Examination Workshop, the Dodd Cross-Examination Clinic, Deposition Skills through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, the Kolodny Trial Schools Course and Advanced Business Valuation seminar at the National Family Law Trial Institute.

Danya undertook publicly-funded parental rights defense work and tried several parental rights jury trials, including the first jury trial in Oklahoma during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her courtroom advocacy is consistently acclaimed by onlookers, trial judges, and opposing counsel. She has obtained successful outcomes in contentious cases with issues ranging from child relocation to spousal support.
