Aaron hails from Sapulpa, Oklahoma, which was also called home by some of the United States' most successful trial lawyers of the 20th century. His legal practice includes contested family law matters, with a focus on financial cases involving valuation disputes and support claims, and white-collar criminal defense. An avid reader, he is also a frequent writer and speaker on family law and trial advocacy topics.
Aaron has served in a number of leadership positions throughout his career. Presently, he is the President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Chair of the American Bar Association Family Law section's Trial Practice and Techniques Committee, and he serves on the joint American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers / Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Conference Planning Committee. He is an associate editor of the Oklahoma Bar Journal and has been on its Board of Editors since 2017.
