He is also engaged in Data Privacy Protection.

Danilo Rodriguez Villamil is current partner of Espino Nieto. He has been in the firm for 32 years. He is an attorney and Notary Public. He has a Post Graduate Degree on New Technology Law (ISEADE/ESEADE, 2019) and other courses of the Word Intellectual property Organization (WIPO). He has also coordinated Table Topics at the International Trademark Association. (INTA). For the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), on June 10, 2025, he was moderator of the Panel Risk and Venture Capital for Innovation," held in San Salvador. He is current Professor of Intellectual Property Law at ESEN (Superior School of Business and Economics) in San Salvador and has been a Post Graduate Program Professor of Intellectual Property Law of ISEADE/ESEADE. (2022).

His work focuses on advisory services related to Intellectual Property and New Technologies. He has represented many foreign and local companies enforcing IP Rights including Custom Protection and civil infringement. He has also been involved in advising worldwide clients towards to protect IP portfolios in El Salvador. His steady path on this field has resulted in many contributions to local IP regulations and he has been invited to many public agencies, universities, Incubators Entities and other non-profit entrepreneur organizations to provide legal training on the Intellectual Property regulations and practices.

He has served as an arbitrator for the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI) and is currently member of the Committee for the Valuation, Monetization, and Commercialization of Intangibles of ASIPI. He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA). He has also served as President of the Salvadoran Intellectual Property Association (ASPI).

He is an active member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in San Salvador. He is also member of the Legal Studies Committee of FUSADES (Salvadorean Non-Profit Organization for Economic and Social Development)
