Career

Daniela Leal is Partner and Legal Director of the Innovative Businesses and Venture Capital of EJASO, having joined in 2021, with background expertise in advising venture capital and M&A deals, corporate matters for startups, scaleups and investors within the technology and innovation, both in the national and international ecosystem.

She advises growth oriented and entrepreneurial clients in executing capital and intellectual property-driven transactions, with a particular focus on M&A, venture capital and PE deals. Daniela is a thought lawyer in the innovation community with a passion for innovative business and technology.

She has over fifteen years of experience assisting venture capital firms, investors and entrepreneurs in setting successful deals. When assisting venture capital firms, or other investors, she helps them with formalizing investment opportunities, follow-on, exit, taking care of the secretary of their portfolio companies. When assisting entrepreneurs, she helps them from beginning through kick-off, investment and financing rounds, contracting, corporate aspects, from early stage to international expansion.
