Dan McClure has extensive first-chair jury trial experience in civil litigation. His practice currently focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, including class actions, energy, oil and gas, antitrust, business torts, qui tam False Claims Act actions, contract disputes, and government investigations. He has represented clients in all segments of the energy industry — upstream, midstream, and downstream. He has defended numerous class actions in many industries. He has been lead lawyer for numerous oil and gas companies defending royalty class actions. He has twice been named to the national BTI Client Service All-Star Team for delivering “the absolute best client service” based on a survey of corporate clients. In 2016, he received the Institute for Energy Law’s Lifetime Achievement in Energy Litigation Award.
